Papa and Babi's visit

Last week, Papa and Babi came for the whole week. We had so much fun, and we all stayed so busy! Here are some of the highlights:

On Saturday we went to Brumbaugh's farm - it started out sunny and warm and when we got there it was windy and cool. But, we still decided to go and it was fun.
Here is Luke all bundled up.

I had to get a picture of Kenneth eating his first hand picked apple

Esther in some kind of play house

On Monday, we went to library story time and the kids got to dress up in their halloween costumes.

Babi and Esther - on one of Esther's rare good moments of the week

On tuesday, everyone braved the cold 39 degree weather to see me run a 5K race!

It was so great to have everyone there, even though it was so cold. And it ended up being really good because there was a huge pizza party after the race for the 2,100 racers and everyone else that was there.

I got 4th out of 140 in my age category, 25th out of 1,200 women and 185th place overall.

Babi and Esther baking some cookies. Babi had a special pilgrim hat craft also that Esther loved.

On Thursday, Babi and I took Esther to get her first official haircut. She sat so still and was so good.

The end result - not too much different, just trimmed up a little.
