Christmas festivities

This blog post is about all our December Christmas festivities and fun things that we did with the kids.

Christmas tree lighting at the Greene with some friends just after Thanksgiving

Grandma came to Esther's Kindergarten choir concert at church

Esther getting ready for the choir program
She didn't sing much, she spent most of the time looking for us and at us in the audience

We also went to the festival of lights at the zoo - Ellie was bundled up in her seat like an eskimo
Luke and Esther loved riding the carousel with all the animals
and daddy did too!

We went to see Santa at a church down the road that always does a special Christmas day for the kids

the kids had a lot of fun there!

Luke's favorite was frosty

December 17th, Uncle Ron and Aunt Nonie came to visit!

About an hour after they arrived at our house, Luke and Esther were chasing each other around the house and Luke fell and broke his collar bone - So, Luke and daddy were at the ER for most of Ron and Nonie's visit. Luke came back and was a trooper with his little sling
And he ate his soup left handed
You can tell the right side is swollen, but he was proud of it
just typical Luke at breakfast - always trying something new that I haven't told him not to do yet
Little thumb sucker

Family photos
I found Ellie after one of her naps like this - she looked like a little nun I thought
