A day at the fair

Last week we took our annual trip to the fair with my sister, her 4 kids and my mom. My sister lives right down the street from the fairgrounds, so we are able to just park at her house and walk there.

We always first go to see all the animals - Luke loved the rabbits because they were so soft

Then onto the rides! We've always gone on Monday of the fair each year because it's kids day and the riding bracelets are discounted. But, it is always sooooo crowded. So, we decided to try and go on Tuesday this year because the animals are still there, but we thought it may be less crowded and we were right! The kids basically walked on every ride the entire day.

Esther loved the helecopter too

Esther, Luke and Malachi riding the super truck ride. It started to be a little challenging this year because of Rachel and Zeke being older and wanting to ride the bigger rides. So, some of the time, Esther, Luke and Malachi rode the kid rides while the others rode the bigger rides.

Luke even got a balloon hat from a clown - it broke 5 minutes later of course

It all proved a bit too much for the little boys - around 2:30 they both fell asleep for about 45 minutes!

And then we discovered Esther's favorite ride of the day - the kiddie scrambler. She rode with Zeke the first couple times she rode

It was a great day at the fair, but very tiring - we were there from 10-5, which is the longest we've ever gone. I'm so glad I made the trip though because the kids had an absolute blast - can't wait for next year!! I'm getting a ride bracelet for me and riding the big rides!
