pee wee soccer camp

Esther participated in her first soccer camp last week. She loves kicking the soccer ball at home, so we figured we'd let her have a chance to play for real. Living in Ohio, the weather is always a risk in the spring, but it really cooperated quite well the entire week.
Here are some pictures from the week.

Esther and Luke ready to go the first day. Luke wanted to play too, so we told him he could take a ball and kick it on the sidelines.

There were a few tears the first day - but that got better as the week went on

Her dribbling and throw in's got so much better as the week went on.

My little soccer champ - we decided not to put her in the actual soccer season (6 weeks long) - she didn't seem quite ready, but there's another camp and season at the end of the summer, so we'll see.

These are so cute and precious! She looks so 'soccer-ish!' when the time comes, I know Esther will be good at it.

Well, you know she can't help but be athletic eventually, with you & Kenneth as parents! She looks pretty darn cute in her soccer get-up. :)
