Picking up and playing in the debris

The week after the big hurricane, the kids had so much fun playing on all the piles of branches and leaves. Esther was so sad to see them go when the big claw came to pick them up. Unfortunately, our street was one of the first to get ours picked up, on Monday, September 22. I think it's probably a 5 week project, and ours got picked up the first day! oh well, they had fun for a few days. Here are some pictures....

The "Claw"

Esther, Luke and the neighbor boy Wyatt on "the Claw" - the crew finished their first day in front of our house, so they parked "the claw" right ourside our house for the night.
