The Magic Kingdom!

After naps on Sunday afternoon, we headed to Disney World for a short 3 day vacation. The kids and I had never been there. After checking into our hotel, we went to downtown disney just for a little while to look around. then Monday morning bright and early we headed to the Magic Kingdom!
Here's the view when you walk into the Magic Kingdom

Esther was so excited -my friend Becca bought her this princess camera to take with her on the trip - she loved it!
Daddy and Esther on Dumbo - we waited the longest for this ride (a whopping 30 minutes)
The view of the castle from Dumbo
Esther and I on the Winnie the pooh ride
The Golden Carousel

Indy speedway

Around noon, Luke started just wanting to sleep on our shoulders he was so tired, the kids both got up at 6:30 I think. So, we went to a nice sit down restaurant at 1PM to get out of the sun and get some food. Just as we got our meals, Luke threw up, so we had to take our food to go. We went and checked into our resort, and the kids took naps (after Luke threw up again)- they slept until 6PM! We really wanted to go back and see the parade and fireworks that night, but we were going to see how Luke was doing. He seemed to be okay for the time being, so we headed back.
Monday evening we went back to the Magic Kingdom for the Spectromagic parade - here are some pictures

Fireworks were at 10PM, so both kids were a little tired by then
Tuesday was our pool and Downtown disney day! The kids loved the pool - there was a kiddie pool and an adult pool.
Esther got brave enough to jump to Kenneth - she also learned how to swim that day

Downtown Disney

Kenneth's mom , Sister (Rebekah) and her husband met us at downtown Disney and we all ate at the Rainforest Cafe.
We got to sleep in a little on Wednesday because I had a character breakfast reservation at 9:30.

Kenneth and Esther waiting at chef Mickey's
This was the best thing we did while at Disney! it was an all you can eat buffet and Mickey and the gang made rounds while we were there.

After our huge breakfast, we went to the Magic Kingdom for one last day.
There was a wonderful show starting just as we walked up to the castle - this was also one of the best things we did there. Luke fell asleep on the monorail bringing us to the Magic Kingdom , so he got a good nap during the show!
The show had all the princesses and Mickey, Minny, Donald, etc.... it was awesome!

Esther had a blast in minnie's house
She also got to meet some of the princesses. Sleeping Beauty took a real liking to her, she just loved her!

And both kids met more characters

After riding rides for about 2 hours( we rode the Pirates of the Caribbean twice because we could just walk right in), At 3PM every day they have another huge parade, so here is everyone waiting for that to start (In the shade because I think it got up to 95 that day!)
The parade's are absolutely magical there because of the music and all the character involved.
Before we left, we had to do the photo in front of the castle
as we were walking out, we spotted Pluto meeting some people, so we caught him just as he was leaving! What a great day at the magic Kingdom!
